Amarillo Venom to take on Texas Revolution, FC Amarillo to begin Spring training

Amarillo Venom, a member of the Champions Indoor Football League, will travel to take on the Texas Revs this Sunday April 14th, and FC Amarillo will begin official training for the season

Amarillo, TX, April 10, 2019 – The Amarillo Venom, two-time Champions of the Lone Star Football League and 2017 South Division Champs of the Champions Indoor Football league, won their Season Opener against Salina Liberty, and will be on the road this weekend for their second game.

The next home game for the Amarillo Venom is on April 20th, and will include an Easter Egg Hunt with over 5000 eggs to be found after the game, sponsored by the great people at AquaOne. Please note that the game time has been changed from 6pm to 2pm so families can enjoy this time together. Youth sports teams can wear their jerseys/t-shirts and get free admission to the game with the purchase of an adult ticket.

“We are looking forward to this weekend’s game and know the guys will come home with a WIN. Then we have the next game to prepare for, and the earlier kickoff time will allow for the kids to have some Easter fun after watching the game! We can’t wait!”  -Stephanie Tucker

FC Amarillo will begin their Spring Training this weekend and all next week. Head Coach Chad Webb is looking forward to the 2019 season and feels they are building a great team to win the championship for the US Arena Pro Soccer League.
