Amarillo Venom to host Non-Profit Brunch

AMARILLO, Texas – The Amarillo Venom, the indoor professional football team is gearing up for the 2020 season. The Venom have been recognized through the Champions Indoor Football League for years as the Community Relations Team of the Year and this year will be no different.

The Amarillo Venom has been working alongside non-profits to offer fun ways for their organizations to promote awareness for their causes, fundraising opportunities, and having fun with the community.

Today, Thursday, February 20th, the Venom has partnered up with the Belmar Bakery to host a Non-Profit Brunch. This will be an opportunity to meet with non-profits and brainstorm on ways to work with non-profits during this season and beyond. The organizations will have the ability to be at home games to promote to fans and participate in year around partnerships.

One example of the partnerships is Saturday, May 30th is Footballs for Furballs. We are working with area organizations that work for the well being of our furry friends such as Paws of Hope, PETS Clinic, and other organizations and area businesses that are in the pet industry. Pets that will be up for adoption that night. Owner Stephanie Tucker personally adopted her late “GUS” from this event and loves to see families and kids smiles.

The Venom open the CIF regular season in Salina, KA against the Salina Liberty and will host the newest team to the CIF the West Texas Warbirds from Odessa, TX on Sunday, as the 2020 Season Home Opener.

Tickets go on sale at all Panhandle Ticket outlets on Monday, March 2nd.
